Great skin is an investment! It can take up a lot of time trying to find out what you should use on your skin and to understand how to support skin health as we age. It is also difficult to know what to do if you have problematic skin- acne and rosacea sufferers.. I hear you! It can also cost a lot of money if you take a trial and error approach to skincare, without any guidance. People spend £1000s (often more!) on skincare products in their lifetime. This is often because they try a product and it doesn't help, so they spend money on more. When I ask patients, why did you choose that one, they are often not sure why. If they're honest, it was probably because the bottle looked nice or it smelled great. . We live in a world where products are being sold all around us continually. Each product is trying to gain recognition as the "go to skincare product", "the latest skincare trend" or "the best skincare product on the market"

I'm here to keep it real: skincare is simple but.. it's not easy

Having treated patients for skincare conditions in clinic and hospitals for almost a decade, I decided to switch focus and try to share my skills to empower people to look after their skin at home! This blog is somewhere I can share my medical skills and knowledge, to help enhance your natural beauty, deal with skin problems, and boost your self esteem and confidence. You'll learn all you need to support your skin as it changes through the years!

This is based on 4 pillars:

Nature

Use what you are born with!

Nurture

Enhance what you naturally have!

Science

Evidence-based proven results only. I love to geek out on the science, so you don’t have to!

Art

An eye for beauty and the skills to create it.   I was born an artist and have always been fascinated by faces and portraits.

My 'mission' is simple - to make you look and feel your best, so that you have the confidence to be your best!

Scientific research shows us our behaviour towards a person depends on his/her facial appearance at a considerable level - this is called the 'attractiveness halo effect'.  A good appearance is one of the important criteria for being a leader, this is because people tend to determine loyalty, trustworthiness, intelligence, reliability and competence through the physical appearance of a person.

I don't think looks are everything, but they matter.

According to science, people who are perceived as attractive are more likely to get hired for jobs and are thought to lead heathier and happier lives. I believe this is due to increased confidence.

My 'mission' is simple - to make you look and feel your best, so that you have the confidence to be your best!

Your face! Your future!
